The heat of the summer is slowly behind us. This summer season we had great attendance for our morning shotguns and three to four hearty groups in the afternoon slot. By the time you are reading this our annual overseed should be in process or just completed. Men’s golf will resume after overseed with some player friendly games based on the cart path only rule in place.
This season the staff completed the bunker project by improving the drainage and adding new sand. Remember they are called hazards for a reason!
Our snowbird members are arriving and adding to our golf activity. We welcome you back, just don’t win so much!
As always proper hydration was the key for us brave souls hitting that ball with temperatures rising above 100 degrees fahrenheit. In closing please do your best to keep pace with the group in front of you. Play ready golf and add those scores on your card at the next tee box.
