Navigating hearing loss is a real challenge. Coping with frustration, impatience, anger, and sometimes even comical responses when communicating can impact both the speaker and the listener. If this sounds familiar, you will benefit from learning communication strategies!
Please join us on Thursday, Nov. 10, at 12:45 p.m. at the Sun Lakes United Methodist Church, at 9248 E. Riggs Road, when the Sun Lakes chapter of the HLAA welcomes past Chapter President Liz Booth. Liz has a lifelong, progressive hearing loss and now benefits from a cochlear implant. You don’t want to miss this meeting when Liz will share her firsthand experiences with communication struggles and a game plan on how she successfully applies strategies to her valued relationships. Liz remains an active board member of our local HLAA chapter, as well as the Task Force arm of the AZ Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
Our meetings are free and are open to the public. If you have any questions, contact [email protected] or [email protected].
