The Sun Lakes Italian-American Club (SLIAC) will be having our first meeting/dinner of the 2025-26 year on Thursday, Oct. 2, at the Oakwood ballroom, next to Stone & Barrel restaurant. Doors open at 5 p.m., dinner is at 6 p.m., and the topic will be “A Night of Italian Jeopardy.” The cost for dinner will be $26, and annual membership is $20. Zelle payment is the preferred way to pay. If you are not familiar with Zelle, please go to our website for info. Checks are also accepted. You will not be able to pay at the door. The RSVP and payment deadline is Thursday, Sept. 25. Very important: No RSVP reservations or payments will be taken after this date. RSVP to Linda McCabe at lhmccabe@aol.com.
If you are thinking about joining the club and want to check us out, feel free to come to the dinner meeting at a cost of $26 (for dinner). When you join the club, there is a $20 annual membership fee that covers you from October through May. We meet monthly to “preserve, honor, and promote Italian heritage, customs, and traditions.” We also enjoy eating! If you are a member and on our monthly mailing list, you will receive an email with RSVP info around the 10th of the month. RSVP is a must so that we can give the caterer an accurate count.
