The Sun Lakes Italian American Club membership rolls are open to those who are interested in Italian culture, food and a good time. Our regular business meetings occur on the first Monday of the month. We begin at 6:00 p.m. with a dinner, have a short business meeting and end with social time. Join us for some fun, some games and meet some of your friends and neighbors who share a similar love of everything Italian. Dues are $15 per person and are now due.

Our December 7 event was our annual Christmas party. The theme was “The Nutcracker.” The food was Chicken Marsala with pasta, risotto, beans with almonds, salad, bread and dessert. Entertainment was provided by the Chordaire Ambassadors. There were games prizes and a raffle; a good time was had by all.

Our next event will be at Palo Verde on January 4. Food will be Chicken Piccata, pasta, salad, bread and dessert. The program will tentatively be “Artist and Architects of the Vatican.” The cost will be $15 per person. Come join us; reservations need to be made no later than December 31.
