It’s time for all Sun Lakes Italian-American Club (SLIAC) members and guests to get together on Monday, April 4, at San Tan Ballroom at Cottonwood for our next dinner/meeting. All tables will be spaced appropriately, and there will be six people per table. There will also be several tables for “singles only.” Doors open at 5 p.m. for registration and cash bar. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. The cost of the dinner is still $20 and will consist of Caesar salad, garlic bread, stuffed cheese manicotti, veggies, and lemon meringue pie. If you need a vegetarian or gluten-free meal, please let us know when you RSVP.
The speaker at the April 4 meeting will be Gino Calabro. Gino is a GM at The Hash Kitchen, The Mexicano, and The Sicilian Butcher. He will be talking about the food, menu, and culture of these great, local restaurants.
If you are a member of SLIAC or on our mailing list, you will receive the monthly newsletter around March 20. RSVP deadline will be March 30. We had a total of 90 members/guests at our last meeting. Don’t get left out—get your RSVP in early!
