Viva Italia! It’s time for all Sun Lakes Italian-American Club (SLIAC) members and guests to get together on Monday, Dec. 6, at the San Tan Ballroom at Cottonwood, for our annual Christmas Party and Raffle. All tables will be spaced appropriately, and there will be a maximum of six people per table. This will allow us to properly use social distancing and COVID-19 safety measures. There will be several tables for “singles only.” Doors will open at 5 p.m. for registration and cash bar. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. The cost for the dinner will be $20.

Dinner will consist of Caprese salad, beef tenderloin medallions in Madeira wine sauce, mashed potatoes and gravy, asparagus, and chocolate mousse. Bottles of red and white wine will be on each table, compliments of your SLIAC. Thank you for being a member!

If you are a member or on our mailing list, you will be receiving an email with RSVP info around the 18th of this month. RSVP must be made by Thursday, Dec. 2. Remember, if you need a gluten-free or vegan dinner, let us know when you RSVP.

We had a successful November dinner meeting with 79 members in attendance. With the addition of a few snowbirds, we are anticipating close to 100 in attendance for the December Christmas Party and Raffle. Get your RSVP in early. Don’t miss out on the fun!
