We welcome our fabulous fall season here in Sun Lakes and with it our members returning from their summer travels. Our fall/winter season of golf and events has started. Our next Board meeting will be on Wednesday, November 7, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ironwood clubhouse. Also on November 7, we will have representatives at a table at the “Golf Expo” from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Oakwood clubhouse. We can answer your questions about our league and have memberships available. Our next general meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 14, at 10:00 a.m. at the Ironwood clubhouse. This November 14 meeting will be combined with our Membership Drive. We invite ladies who are interested in league play. This is a great opportunity to hear about what our league offers, meet many of our wonderful members, play an afternoon of golf on our superb Ironwood course and experience the fun of being an Ironwood Lady Niner. Members can start inviting potential members for this play date.

Giving Thanks: With Thanksgiving fast approaching, we want to take time to give thanks for our great Lady Niner League and the wonderful friendships we have developed. We thank the executive board, our standing committees and many other members who put in countless hours to make our organization so successful and so much fun. We also thank Eddy Renio, Kevin Marugame, Ray Paiva and the Ironwood Pro Shop staff for their professionalism and generosity in providing our ladies with a wonderful golf experience throughout the year. They make golf great in IronOaks.

It is time to renew our membership for 2019. Annual dues for the Ironwood Lady Niners, payable by December 1, 2018, are $70.00. Checks should be made out to “Ironwood Lady Niners.” Your check and membership application form should be placed in the Lady Niners drop box which is located in the Ironwood clubhouse Computer Room. We also offer a Social Membership for $10.00. This membership is available to former and current members who can no longer play golf on our regular game schedule. There are dates identified on our calendar that will accommodate their play. Most importantly, they are welcome to attend all of our general meetings, brunches and special events. Additionally, we offer a GHIN# Only for Women. The cost this year is $40.00 (which includes the AWGA fee plus a $10.00 processing fee). We hope that all IWLN members rejoin, and we look forward to a great year of golf in 2019.
