This year, the 2024 Jason Morton Tennis Classic of the top doubles team of Coach Kwong (IronOaks tennis pro and Cottonwood resident) and USTA Southwest Director of Adult Competition Matt Gleason were in top form when they ran an incredible 280 entries for this four-day prize money event, with lots of hungry talents. This is a level-5 adult tournament for players earning ranking points and built for the more serious-minded competitive hitters and bragging rights.

Tournament Director Matt G. said that of all the adult tournaments he runs yearly, IronOaks in Sun Lakes is by far the top tournament attraction due to its living community with well-kept grounds and convenient dining just a short walk from the courts at Stone & Barrel. IronOaks teaching pro, coach Kwong, said, “It was nice to see players that you haven’t seen for years and to talk about flashback times with them and share some laughs.”
