Wow! The annual Jason Morton Tennis Classic Tournament 2023 had its second largest number of entries (230). Besides local players, out-of-state players came from as far away as Florida, Chicago, New Mexico, and Washington State to compete. Mother nature blessed the players with cooler temperatures and a slight breeze to help cool off these tennis warriors.

IronOaks Tennis Club (IOTC) would like to acknowledge and thank all who have helped sponsor this annual tournament, including the PGA Superstore, Brooklyn V’s Pizza, Kolb Realty, A-1 Golf Carts, The Battery Doctor, Young Realty, Tennis Cabana, Blue Star (Stone & Barrel), Ralph Strings Racquets, and, lastly, an anonymous donor.

Tournament Director Matt Gleason (USTA) and IOTC tennis pro Kwong Young were very pleased with the professionalism of this year’s entries from this large players draw. All competed at a high level of performance with a genuine smile and a congratulatory handshake at the end of all the matches.
