The regular monthly Shabbat service for May will be held on May 9 at 7 p.m. Two major life events will be celebrated during the service. Lana Oyer, SLJC choir director, will be having her B’nai Mitzvah. Len Dolins, who is 83 years old, will be experiencing his second Bar Mitzvah, recognizing it is 13 years since he turned 70.
