The Lucky Shot Pool Club welcomed four new and returning members and passed changes in tournament procedures at its fall membership meeting October 23.
New members are Bob Heilshorn, Jim Perrault and Jim Moline. Tim Ferris and Gary Vacin returned to tournament play after brief absences.
Club members discussed present status of the tables and facilities in the Billiards Room, including lighting, table and ball maintenance, overhead game-count strings, furniture, equipment and carpeting. Steve Colby, Tom Ferris, Michael Dalsanders and J.R. Scheidereiter were appointed as a committee to propose replacement and improvements to the board.
The fall tournament started November 1 and will run through December 10. The club also offers competition in a winter tournament running from January 1, 2019, to February 10 and a spring tournament starting March 1 and ending April 10.
The regular season ends with an awards meeting in late April. Two summer tournaments are scheduled from June 1 to July 10 and August 1 to September 10.
All Sun Lakes residents are eligible to play in any of the club’s tournaments. For additional information, contact Joe Inglmund, club president, at 415-302-1559 or Steve Colby, tournament director, at 480-600-5392.
