Nov. 6 is the kick-off for Cottonwood Ladies Golf Association (CLGA) league play! If you’re interested in playing league golf, go to our website at cottonwoodwga.azgolf.org and learn all you need to know about a fun time on and off the course. CLGA brings all women golfers together (beginners as well as seasoned golfers). Each Thursday morning we meet to play a variety of games (team play as well as individual competitions). Patio parties throughout the season are planned with special events after tournaments and the annual Santa Scramble/luncheon.
Heard of the Ryder Cup? Nov. 13 will be the first round of two-person teams in match play. Nov. 20 is the follow-up, with a patio party to conclude the event. The great news is that there will be a tutorial on Nov. 12 at Cottonwood’s putting green by Mikki Rydell and pro Jon Griglak. Get all your questions answered and gear up for a fun time in team play.
