Jersey Mike’s “Just for Fun” billiards event went over so well last year that it’s set for a return, beginning Tuesday, Nov. 5.

“We were very well pleased with the turnout last year and are looking forward to another successful season,” Jersey Mike said.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to noon every Tuesday in the Cottonwood Billiards Room. Format will be the same as last year and is designed to bring together players of all abilities to play six games of 8-Ball doubles with variations as follows:

1. Two games of standard “Straight” 8-Ball.

2. Two games of standard 8-Ball with the addition of a requirement that the 1 and 15 balls must be pocketed in a designated side pocket within the same inning.

2. Two games of Scotch doubles using the standard 8-Ball format. The game requires that players on the same team alternate from shot to shot within the same inning.

Each player brings six quarters to the event. Team players will be drawn by random, and each game will have different playing partners.
