Tom Owen, a locally-based actor, will appear as “I, King David” on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Sun Lakes Community Church. Well received previously when he presented “I Joseph,” Tom is a licensed minister with considerable experience in Bible-based drama. Previously, he has starred as Jesus, the Apostle Paul, Joseph and now King David.

In this one-man, one-act soliloquy, Tom explores how God’s amazing grace can forgive, heal and restore our broken lives. Too often we think of biblical personalities as perfect, when in reality, upon reading the scriptures closely, we discover that most of the people God uses are deeply flawed – but have found the forgiveness of God.

Then, on Sunday, July 15, Tom will be the guest speaker with his special message: The Mystery of the Believers Secret Weapon. You are invited to come and learn what this secret weapon is and how it will help equip you to deal with the many issues the enemy of our soul brings against the believer.

Tom will present “I, King David” on Sunday, July 8 at 9:30 a.m. at the morning worship service of Sun Lakes Community Church. They meet in the Sun Lakes Chapel, located across from Sun Lakes Country Club.
