On Wednesday, February 1, nine members of the St. Steven’s Knights of Columbus Council 9678 conducted their annual Soccer Challenge for students at the St. Peter Indian Mission School, which is located south of Sun Lakes. Elementary school boys and girls had 15 tries to score points by kicking a soccer ball into designated point areas of a standard soccer goal. More than 170 students took part. After the event, trophies were awarded to high scoring participants. Sir Knight Bill Triquart organized the event and presented awards at the student award assembly.
