Rich Volpe, Chapter Commander

Our Chapter Commander would like to extend his thanks and appreciation for all the continued support you all provided to our organization over the past year. We continue to look for new adventures as we move on following a year of challenges and change. As time passes on, things are starting to return back to normal. In the future, there have been a few changes that should be noted, if they’re not already on your current calendars. In the future, the club’s official monthly meetings will run from October through April, a slight difference from previous years. Meeting times will stay the same, starting at 11 a.m. on the fourth Wednesday of the month. Meetings are scheduled for the Pima Room, which is located on the upper level of the SunBird Community Center, when available.

The next scheduled meeting is set for April 26 at 11 a.m. A significant part of our agenda is the participation of a guest speaker. If the speaker is known in advance or becomes available later than this publication, that information will be passed on to the active membership in a timely manner. For the early attendees of the meetings, coffee, water, and pastries now will be made available by the club’s staff.

Being a service organization, we are well aware that we all are vulnerable to the unexpected, and accidents do happen. One of the club’s primary goals is to be able to provide support in the best manner possible when needed. Our doors are always open, and help is only a phone call away. Our club maintains a significant amount of supplies that are often required for rehab after a fall or other unexpected accident. Feel free to call Chapter Commander Rich Volpe regarding additional details, inventories, and other questions you may have regarding club membership or medical equipment availability. He can be reached at 480-802-2532 and would be happy to talk to you.
