The Ladies Community Chit and Chat meeting will be held on the second Wednesday, Aug. 10, at 11 a.m., in the Saguaro Room of the Cottonwood Country Club located at 25630 S. Brentwood Drive in Sun Lakes. Please be on time. Orders will be taken at 11:30 a.m., and the meal will be served at noon. The program is pending at this time. The Chit and Chat group shared their celebration for five years of service to the community on July 13, in the ballroom of the Cottonwood Country Club. The presenter was Rose Pachura who gave the history of the Ladies Community Chit and Chat group. Rose gave red roses to the women who attended, along with door prizes. Rose wanted to give her appreciation to the ladies who attended. The ladies shared their interest with their support for the celebration.

We are in the planning stages for the Sun Lakes Wonderland of Lights. If you would like, you can donate a Christmas tree for the fundraiser for Starbright Foundation, Inc., for kids in need.

This year, we will have the Sun Lakes Wonderland of Lights at Cottonwood Country Club. Jean Jones and her staff member Josh are on the committee to help with this fundraiser. This year is going to be bigger and better. Please donate a Christmas tree for this fundraiser. We need volunteers to help with this fundraiser.
