Andrea Pasquale, director of Sun Sounds of Arizona, accepts a donation “check” from Bob Glantz, president of the Sun Lakes Breakfast Lions Club. Sun Sounds of Arizona was founded in 1979, and offers free programs for the blind or visually impaired 24/7—serving over 50,000 listeners, with over 10,000 hours of programs produced every year, from the daily newspaper to various magazines, down to the weekly supermarket ads. Served by volunteers who read over 200 publications, it opens the world to those without sight or struggling with sight issues. Glantz said, “It is an honor as a Lions Club to donate to such a worthy cause.” Visit the Sun Sounds of Arizona on the net at www.sunsounds.org.
