The Sun Lakes Breakfast Lions Club recently participated in a Lions Children First project to assist children in the community by presenting 200 pocket dictionaries to third and fourth graders of the Galveston Elementary School.

This project demonstrates how Lions are committed to putting children first and to providing those in need with essential services. It is a great example of how Lions positively impact the lives of others through rewarding volunteer activities and teamwork. Lions thank everyone who contributed to and supported this important project.

The Sun Lakes Breakfast Lions Club meets on the second and fourth Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. at the Navajo Room, Sun Lakes Country Club. Lions clubs are an active group of men and women who identify and fulfill community needs. For more information or to get involved with the Sun Lakes Breakfast Lions Club call 480-242-4356.
