The Cottonwood Palo Verde Foundation’s biggest single event will be held again this year in November! It’s so much fun that we call it a Fun Walk! There are three walks to choose from: 1/2 mile, 1 mile or 2.7 miles. The first wave of walkers will speed-walk to keep ahead of the others. The second wave of walkers will keep moving at a casual walking pace. The last wave of walkers can take their time chatting, visiting with one another or watching the ducks on the lake while they mosey down the path.

We’ll start the festivities with a Kick-Off Party on Friday, November 10, 2017, in the Saguaro Room of Cottonwood Palo Verde from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Pre-registered Fun Walk participants will be able to collect their Fun Walk t-shirts at the Kick-Off Party, as well as enjoy some fruit, veggie and cheese snacks and have the opportunity to win raffle prizes!

The Fun Walk itself will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017, on the greenbelt walking paths across from the Cottonwood tennis courts. It’s like a big walking party with your neighbors! We had 140 Fun Walk participants last year who had a great time.

Come join us for the 2017 Fun Walk! The Registration Fee of $20 benefits your very own Cottonwood Palo Verde Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and does include your Fun Walk t-shirt and participation in the Kick-Off Party! Registration forms can be found online at www.cottonwoodpaloverdefoundation.org or at the Cottonwood Palo Verde Homeowner Services office on EJ Robson Blvd. and Riggs Rd. Your registration needs to be submitted by October 20, 2017.
