Besides being fun, dancing is an activity that offers many rewards to the participants. You can exercise without working out, improve your social life, increase flexibility and agility, strengthen your balance, develop more social poise and confidence, strengthen your core muscles, meet new friends and improve your skills in other sports and physical activities – all the while holding a good looking partner in your arms. Dancing is the Fountain of Youth.
And social dancing is the most fun of all; it’s much less formal than ballroom dancing which is best suited for competition and performances. Learning to social dance allows you to strut your stuff on small dance floors to any kind of music you like, to music provided by live combos and deejays.
Although classes continue throughout the summer months, there are no entry level Basic Social Dance Classes scheduled for the rest of the summer.
Dancing is a cool activity and this is the time of year we really appreciate cool.
