Jack and Annie Hall at their first dancing field trip!

Seek no further; it’s on the dance floor.

Besides being fun, dancing is an activity that offers many rewards to the participants. You can exercise without working out, improve your social life, increase flexibility and agility, strengthen your core muscles, improve your balance, develop more social poise and confidence, meet new friends, and improve your skills in other sports and physical activities; all this while holding a good looking partner in your arms. Such a deal!

And social dancing is the most fun of all. It’s much less formal than Ballroom dancing and allows you to strut your stuff on small dance floors to any kind of music you may prefer; standards, golden oldies, rock and roll, country, whatever suits your fancy. Check into the Couples Social Dance Club which has a wonderful schedule of dances held at the San Tan Ballroom. For more information contact Michael or Nancy Rogers at 480-895-5976.

It’s incredibly easy to get on the dance floor using the KISS (Keep It Super Simple) method created by Mary Lou Kaye, a DEA and PDF-certified dance instructor. Within one hour you will be able to move to a Fox Trot, Cha-Cha, Tango, Rumba, Swing, One Step or Country Two Step. You’ll amaze yourself. Walk in – dance out!

Call to get the fall schedule of classes (new session may be starting at beginning of November) and to learn more about the KISS dancing method. There may even be a free sample class set up that you can attend.
