The Sisk Park Bocce Club is seeking players to participate in the club’s annual Low Hanging Fruit Tournament set for March 28. The event is open to players from the Divisions F and lower. The tourney begins at 5:30 p.m. Entry fee is $5 per person, and all entry fees will be returned to players in prize money.
This is a round-robin tournament with players drawn at random and placed on four-person teams. Each team plays games against three other teams drawn at random, and players on winning teams earn cash awards.
Interclub Director Sue Donovan says previous tournaments have been well received, and participants have enjoyed an afternoon of fun. No food will be served, so players are encouraged to bring their own food and drinks. Players interested in participating are encouraged to call Sue Donovan at 248-535-5285.
Competition in the club’s second regular tournament will end March 24, to be followed by the Potluck and Awards Party on March 31. The club will take the summer off and resume play in November. Additional information is available from Club President Jim Roberts at 425-681-6583.
