Play is underway for the Lucky Shot Pool Club’s 2023-24 season, with 39 players competing in two pockets of 9-Ball and four pockets of 8-Ball at the Cottonwood Country Club Pool Room. Play runs until Dec. 10, 2023.

The club elected new officers at its fall meeting. Michael Dalsanders is the new club president. Club by-laws call for the outgoing president to serve on the board as member-at-large. Former president Buddy Meola replaced Gary Vacin who served on the club board as president, tournament director, treasurer, and member-at-large at one time or another since 2008.

The Lucky Shot Pool Club welcomes any residents of Sun Lakes as members. Upcoming tournaments run from Jan. 1 to Feb. 10, 2024, and from March 1 to April 10, 2024. For additional information, contact Steve Colby, club tournament director, at 480-600-5392.
