Origami Under the Sea

July 2 at 10 a.m.

Join us as we cool off by creating colorful origami sea creatures. Ages 10+.

Nonfiction Book Club: The Demon of Unrest

July 5 at 3 p.m.

Join our fantastic nonfiction book club to read fascinating biographies, gripping historical accounts, or affirming self-help titles. Each month we will read a different nonfiction book and discuss it as a group. This month, we will be discussing The Demon of Unrest, by Erik Larson.

Recipe Swap

July 7 at 10 a.m.

Join us once a month to share and swap recipes! Bring your favorite recipes, and we will create and pass out copies of it. Participants will be provided with a Robson recipe book where you can add the new recipes you receive.

Spice Trip Around the World (not an in-person program)

July 8

Take a trip around the world with a different spice each month! Register for this program and receive an email when it is ready for you to come to the library to pick up your spice packet with a recipe. If you’d like to receive the information in person, register for our monthly Recipe Swap program!

Readers Rendezvous

July 14 at 10 a.m.

Join fellow readers once a month to talk about what you’re reading! This will be a book club-style discussion but with no required title to read. Discuss what you love to read, share some recommendations, and leave with new titles to read!

Puzzle Tournament

July 15 at 2 p.m.

It’s time for a puzzle tournament! Create a team with your friends (up to four people per team) or join other participants to create a team to become the ultimate puzzle champions!

Workshop Writing: Neighbors, Neighborhoods, and Neighborliness

July 16 at 10 a.m.

In this workshop, we will write about the ways that our neighbors and neighborhoods have influenced our lives.

Genealogy Workshop

July 16 at 11:30 a.m.

Join Duane Roen every month to learn about the basics of genealogy research. This is a one-on-one consultation with Duane. Please sign up to reserve your spot. Space is limited to four.

As You Wish Pottery Mug Masterpiece

July 17 at 1:30 p.m.

Join us when As You Wish Pottery comes to the library and instructs you on how to make a mug masterpiece! You make it, and they will glaze and fire them in their kiln. Please note: Your mug will need to be picked up at their studio four days after this program.

Book Club Is My Alibi: An Insignificant Case

July 18 at 3 p.m.

Join us at our Mystery Book Club! Every month we discuss a new contemporary mystery. Copies of our next book will be distributed at the end of the meeting.

Crafting Together: Cross Stitch

July 24 at 10 a.m.

You can create something new while you engage with the community, relax, and have fun! Attendees of all skill levels are welcome. Cross Stitch will be a recurring monthly series.

Book Break Virtual Author Talks

Register now for our free online author talks, which we will stream for you at the library! We will showcase prominent writers and thought leaders covering a diverse array of fiction and nonfiction genres. Each month, attendees will have the opportunity to hear featured authors speak. Library staff will review the library’s digital resources. We will cover Libby, Hoopla, Kanopy, and Freegal. Feel free to bring your device so we can help you get set up with our digital resources!

Book Club: Look on the Bright Side
