Crafting Together Series
Nov. 14 and Nov. 21
Join us for a unique craft! Each session provides an opportunity to create something new. Learn a new activity while you engage with the community, relax, and have fun. All skill levels are welcome, and all materials are provided as we enjoy crafting together!
This month’s adult crafts (ages 10 and up): Paper Craft Fox Head (Nov. 14) and Pinecone Flowers (Nov. 21)
Dot Art Jars
Nov. 1 at 2 p.m.
Come be artistic with us! We will use a painting technique known as dot art, which uses small, precise dots of color to create an image on a glass jar. For ages 10 and up.
Recipe Swap
Nov. 4 at 10 a.m.
Join us once a month to share and swap recipes! During this time, you are encouraged to share stories about your favorite recipes. Participants will be provided with a Robson recipe book where you can add the new recipes you receive. Please bring a copy of the recipe you want to share so we can create and pass out copies.
Holiday Needle Felting
Nov. 5 at 2 p.m.
Get ready to unleash your creativity this holiday season with our exclusive Needle Felting workshop! Dive into the ancient art of transforming wool into soft felt using special needles. Join us and craft a stunning project that will add a touch of warmth and charm to your holiday decor.
Book and a Craft
Nov. 6 at 10 a.m.
Come to the library to learn new rhymes, read fun books, and learn new literacy skills that you can practice at home! After the story, we will have a group craft to do. Storytime is intended for families of all ages.
Introduction to Virtual Reality

Have you ever been curious about virtual reality? Then our Introduction to Virtual Reality program is perfect for you! In this program we will learn all about virtual reality technology and its uses. We will also have Oculus Quest VR glasses for you to check out!

Readers Rendezvous

Join fellow readers once a month to talk about what you’re reading! This will be a book club-style discussion but with no required title to read. Discuss what you love to read, share some recommendations, and leave with new titles to read!
Teachin’ Tech

Teachin’ Tech is a monthly class that teaches you how to use and operate computers, tablets, or other digital devices! Each session will cover a topic such as how to navigate the web, how to sign up for an email, or how to stay safe online. This program is intended for those who are new to the digital world, but anyone is welcome to attend. Please note: This program is not for individualized tech help.
Workshop Writing: Family Gatherings

Family gatherings can be small or large, occurring for various reasons. For instance, some families gather at their grandparents’ house every weekend, spending hours in conversation. In this workshop, we will share our stories about how our families gather.
Genealogy Workshop

The Ed Robson Film Society
Nov. 22 at 2:30 p.m.
The Ed Robson Film Society is a new program series based around watching and discussing relevant and important films from around the world. This month’s film will be Love Between the Covers (2015). Following the screening, we will have a book club-style discussion based around the film.
Mosaic Sun Catchers

We will use suncatcher paint pens to color our plastic suncatchers. Come express your creativity and design a fun decoration that you can hang up and admire! All ages.
Digital Resources Presentation

Library staff will review the library’s electronic resources. We will cover Libby, Hoopla, Kanopy, and Freegal. Feel free to bring your device so we can help you get set up with our electronic resources!
