Riggs Road, adjacent to the Robson Library, at 1 p.m.
Marshall Trimble is a man of many talents—author, historian, cowboy singer, humorist, and college professor. His first book, Arizona: A Panoramic History of a Frontier State, was published in 1977, and he has tirelessly continued to promote Arizona through his popular speaking engagements and many other activities.
An Arizona native who grew up in the small railroad town of Ash Fork where he was surrounded by the cattle-country lifestyle, he has been called the “Will Rogers of Arizona” for his folksy and humorous manner. He has received recognition through many state and national awards, and in 2006 he received a regional Emmy for hosting the television show Arizona Backroads.
His appearance is not to be missed, so don’t forget to “Save the Date”!
