For the past 10 years Martell Chiropractic has been located at the Ace Plaza Shopping Center offering chiropractic and massage services. Dr. Martell’s practice is expanding and moving to the Bashas’ Shopping Center the first of March. Dr. James Martell is a graduate of Parker College of Chiropractic and is certified in acupuncture and physiotherapy, also specializing in treating sports and repetitive use injuries.

Dr. Caitlin Dlugas, chiropractor, also practices with Dr. Martell. She went to NAU for her undergraduate degree in exercise science and attended So Cal University for her doctorate in chiropractic. Dr. Dlugas offers a variety of services from adjustments to trigger point and cranial-sacral therapies. She is very active in sports and running races.

Thelma Reeves, L.M.T., graduated from Arizona School of Massage Therapy and has been working with Dr. Martell for 10 years. She specializes in therapeutic, Swedish and geriatric massages. She is also certified in many other massages including hot stone and repetitive injury.

Melissa Jackson will be joining the practice in March. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Medicine and over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry. Melissa is a personal trainer, LMT and practices integrative massage along with being a yoga instructor and senior fitness instructor.

Joshua Lawton will also be joining the practice in March. Joshua is a registered nurse earning his nursing degree from Hondros College in Ohio. Joshua will be certified in Botox and Juvederm injection treatments.

Dr. Martell’s goal with the expansion and additional services is to create a wellness center for Sun Lakes and the surrounding communities.

The new location is Ste. 111 on the east end of the Bashas’ Shopping Center.
