Happy 4th of July to each of you! What an amazing and special time of year we are in as we celebrate our nation’s 249th birthday! Our hearts swell with pride as we think about our history and the many meanings of Independence Day. We will sing patriotic songs, listen to speeches, waive flags at parades, attend parties and fairs, and celebrate the freedoms our forefathers fought and died for. Be safe, be well, and enjoy your time with friends and family!
Major prep work continues on the Cottonwood Pool Project. The pool architects, the landscape architects, and our own staff are preparing bid packages to be sent out to potential contractors who will complete the actual demolition and construction. We continue to be hopeful that dirt work will begin later this year.
Our standing committees are taking some time off during the summer season. The new committee year kicks off in November, and there are many open positions. If you have any interest in contributing to the Association in the coming year, please take a look at all the committee information posted on our website. Applications can be obtained at the Administration office or on the website. We eagerly anticipate welcoming new members to fill these vital positions.
Please read our two weekly publications, In The Know and The Flyer, for detailed weekly updates on all the happenings in our community.
