The weather has been beautiful for getting out and hunting for treasures. Even though we mostly find pull tabs, everyone has a nice time and enjoys socializing after the hunt. We had our first fun hunt at Tumbleweed Park. Everyone enjoyed the sunshine even though no great treasures were found.

Our December meeting will be on December 8 and held at the Valle Luna restaurant, 1949 Ray Rd. at 11:30 a.m.. All past, present and potential members and their spouses are welcome to join us for food and fellowship.

The Sun Lakes Metal Lokators’ Club meets the second Monday of every month October thru April. Dues are $15 per person per year. Most meetings are held at 1:00 p.m. in the Friendship Room of the Sun Lakes Country Club. Everyone is welcome to join us to see if this is an activity you would like to do.

If you have no metal detector and would like to try one out, you may come to one of our monthly hunts and use the club’s detector.

Anyone having lost a metal object of value to them is welcome to contact the Lokators Club and have our members search for your item. Contact our club Treasurer Virginia Koehler at 480-883-9672.
