Happy New Year, MOGA members and friends! 2021 is now here, and February and March will be very busy months with three weeks for the Presidents Cup (Net Stroke event), followed by the Member/Member event (Chapman), and then three weeks for the MOGA Club Championships (Gross Stroke event) in March.

Dates followed by an asterisk are MOGA Appreciation Days with free beer and soda in the afternoon.
Game descriptions are on the MOGA website at www.mogagolf.org, and results of each week’s event are posted on the website. Payouts for weekly participants have averaged 50%, so come out and win some Pro Shop chits.
Membership
MOGA membership is still open for any male golfer interested in enjoying a variety of weekly games. We have nearly 300 active members of all skill levels. There are morning and afternoon rounds to pick from. This year over 92% of MOGA members renewed or joined online while having 34 new members, our biggest growth in many years. Getting to know… MOGA new Vice President Ron Dodd
Ron was born and raised in Oregon and spent 36 years in Oregon, 9 years in Washington, and 19 years and counting in Arizona. He and his wife Terri have two children, Melissa (Tom) and Kelli, and three grandchildren: Thomas, Taylor, and Tatum. Ron retired in 2018 from Safeway and spent 44 years in Warehousing & Transportation. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, golf, and bowling. Ron has been a member of MOGA for two years.
