New Board Members
We greatly appreciate the willingness of MOGA members to step forward to serve on the Executive Board, and we endeavor to build on the foundation laid by outgoing board members President Ron Dodd, Tournament Director Mark Nilsen, and Treasurer Ken Gaylord! Our new board members include Matt Robertson, president; Gregg Harney, vice president; John Ladd, treasurer; Vick Russelavage, secretary; Mike Niccum, tournament director; and Jerry Behm, rules.
Rules for Thee But Not for Me
It is very common these days for some people to expect others to abide by the rules while conveniently ignoring the rules themselves. As a club, we are committed to expecting everyone to comply with the rules. But, first, you must understand them.
MOGA has arranged with the AGA and the AZRC to conduct a two-hour general Golf Rules Clinic on Wednesday, Jan. 15, from noon to 2 p.m. in the Oakwood ballroom.
The Golf Rules Clinic is open to all golfers (male and female) in Sun Lakes. A sign-up sheet is on the bulletin boards at Oakwood and Ironwood. Others may email Jerry Behm at [email protected].
You must pre-register to attend. We are required to provide the AGA/AZRC a head count no later than Jan. 8. This is to ensure they bring an adequate number of printed materials for all attendees.
