Four local tennis clubs recently gathered for an exciting multi-club social hosted by the Cottonwood Tennis Club. More than 85 players from Robson Ranch, Trilogy, SunBird, and Cottonwood participated in the event. Teams were thoughtfully mixed across all clubs based on skill level, a format that was met with an enthusiastic, “We love this!” from the participants.
The event kicked off at 8 a.m. on a brisk Jan. 10 morning. Despite the chilly temperatures, which had many players bundled up as if for snow, the high turnout ensured a spirited start to the day.
No event is complete without great food, and this social event was no exception. Bonnie DeGrenier and Dani Hunnel prepared a delicious goulash for more than 90 guests and volunteers. In true Cottonwood Tennis Club fashion, members not only stepped up to assist with the food service but also provided an array of decadent desserts.
