Windows 10 leads the way. Last month we presented an introduction to Windows 10 and whether or not people should upgrade. We also gave a two session Windows 10 class as all new machines will come with this version. We have scheduled another set of Windows 10 classes soon.
Several classes were announced at the October meeting. One is how to make a photobook. This allows you to produce a professional hard cover book for ourselves, children and grandchildren. Some people make a book for every trip to share.
Being safe on the internet is of great importance, so we will teach a course on being safe on the internet. There are people out there who are trying to scam you. Some scams target older folk. Come to the class and learn how to protect yourself.
Taking pictures is always fun, so we have a class in fixing up your digital pictures. We will be teaching Adobe Photoshop Elements.
Can’t remember your passwords, or worse do you use the same password for everything? Come to our password and form filler course. Experienced users will teach you how to manage passwords.
Everyone is talking about the Cloud; an upcoming class will teach you how to use the Cloud to make your life easier. There are rumors the instructor will bring a Cloud to class.
Want to buy on ebay, need an old part, or a hobby piece? Learn to buy and sell on ebay. Maybe we will buy or sell something in class.
Want to see the children or grandchildren or friends more? Learn how to use Skype – kids love to use Skype. Come to the Skype class.
If you want a tablet to read books or watch movies or play games, we can help you select a tablet.
Is your computer running well? Is it displaying ads all over? If it’s more the latter than the former, come to our class on keeping your computer running well.
Classes are free for Computer Booter members and $10 for non-members. They are held in the Arts and Crafts Room in Sun Lakes Country Club from 6:30–7:30 p.m. Bring your laptop; electricity is available. Remember to wear your Booters badge.
