There is an undeniable excitement in the air for New Adventures in Learning! Thanks to an incredible community response, our recent summer registrations skyrocketed by approximately 30% compared to last year. We are thrilled to welcome a wave of new faces to our lifelong learning family, alongside a remarkable number of neighbors who are stepping up to volunteer their time and talents.
As we look toward the Fall 2026 semester, that momentum is translating into one of our most dynamic course lineups yet. We are partnering with local community college faculty and area professionals to bring a wealth of fresh expertise and highly anticipated subjects to our classrooms.
Our upcoming curriculum truly offers something to spark every curiosity. For nature lovers, we have a safe hiking course and a specialized bird-watching class taught by a member of the Desert River Audubon organization. If you are focused on personal growth, you can look forward to vital presentations on nutrition, an inspiring session on finding romance after 65, and an innovative class on emotional fitness. For those who enjoy a bit of intrigue, you won’t want to miss our deep dives exploring the criminal mind and the complexities of human relationships led by two professional psychologists. We are also keeping things practical with hands-on workshops like Spreadsheet Essentials to help you master digital budgeting and organization.
With no exams, prerequisites, or homework, New Adventures is purely about the joy of learning, discovering new passions, and making friends.
