The Sun Lakes Watermedia Club now exists! To update our name to fit our use of all water based mediums, we have changed our title from the Watercolor Club. Members create artwork using acrylic paints, inks, watercolor pencils, casein and gouache and more.

We welcome new member Janie Lucas. She is experimenting with watercolors from her usual acrylic paints, with a lot of tips from seasoned veteran (one of the joys of being a club member). Janie joins us from Canada.

Following the Christmas season, members brought their current and past original Christmas cards to show. Delightful artists’ works always motivate our creative impulses. The Art Room gallery currently displays contrasts of light and dark in a variety of subject matters. Please stop by to see the paintings and maybe purchase an addition to your collection.
