A new pottery class is starting up again at Cottonwood. This is a hand building class for those that enjoy making functional and non-functional pieces in clay. This class is open to all levels of experience. We will be working in mid fire (cone 5-6) with red or white stoneware and producing some beautiful functional as well as non-functional pottery. Each week a new project will be introduced and you can choose to complete this project or work on your own project at your own pace. New tips and techniques will be introduced and all the firing will be done by the instructor.
Clay slips and some glazes will also be provided. Classes are $20 per week and a $25 per month (if needed) materials fee. Clay is $11 for 25lbs.
Come join us for some creative fun. Stop by and check us out. First class starts Wednesday, September 9 in the Activities Room 8 of Cottonwood Country Club from 8:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
