It’s time to party
Eric Ehst, Executive Director
Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 25. It’s time for Neighbors Who Care’s second annual Welcome Back Party/Community Fair. From 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. our parking lot at the northeast corner of Riggs Rd. and Alma School Rd. will be rocking with fun, food and entertainment. Last year over 400 community members had a great time playing games, eating, listening to musical performances and visiting the information tables of over 70 community organizations and local businesses. This year is going to even bigger and better. We have more entertainment, more vendors, more displays and more fun activities from partners like the Sun Lakes Fire Department and Sheriff’s Posse lined up. Better yet, we’ll have more shade for the participants, flu shots and health screenings and access to rest rooms and disabled parking. Popular events like the dunk tank, will be back to provide a bath for your favorite community leaders. There will be activities for all ages (bring the kids).
Please come and help us celebrate the end of a hot summer, the return of the snowbirds and the services provided to the community by Neighbors Who Care and all of our partnering community organizations. Come on out to get fed, entertained, inspired and to learn about the services and benefits available in our community.
Neighbors Who Care is on a mission to insure that every resident of south Chandler and Sun Lakes is able to live in their own home for as long as feasible with pride, dignity and independence. Working together with our business and community partners we want to make this one of the best places in the world for people of all ages to live.
