Jim Wegman, Publicity

The Hamilton High fund raiser, held on March 3, was a major success and it was all due to our volunteers. Our president, Jerry Richards, put in many hours of planning and, with his board, made the meeting great! Thank you volunteers and well-done Mr. President.

President’s Message: Jerry Richards writes: I wish to recognize a special person who has made a valuable contribution, and a long-term commitment to our league for over 20 years. Jim Wegman has served in many capacities; committee chairs to president. His work has helped make our league what it is today; vibrant and strong. Jim has served as publicity chairman and written hundreds of articles; all published in the Splash. In fact, Jim is only the second publicity chairman in the League. Quite a record. Thank you, Jim, for your dedication.

Course Condition: Golfers, please take note of the new grass coming in and treat it gently. Fill those divots in the fairways and use the divot tool to repair the small round “pitch marks “on the greens. The sand-seed box is in the parking lot; the sand is free. A few repairs now will result in a more playable course next month. Observe the signs and go no closer than 10 yards (30) feet from the greens. And, remember par 3’s are “off limits” to carts, even with an access flag.
