Now a tip of the golf hat to our volunteers. First, longtime member Bob Pender. Bob is the league photographer, creator of the photo layout, and the talent behind the dynamic PowerPoint program featured at the annual meeting/fundraiser. In his spare time, he works on the set-up for the Bill Slattery Tournament and works the tables at our Hamilton High School fundraiser.
A newer member, Mike Crewdson, had been asked to help on some assignments and always said yes. First, Mike was a game manager, and when we needed a back-up treasurer, Mike was ready and willing. Shortly thereafter, he became the full-time treasurer and board member. Mike is one of those essential guys—quiet, very effective, and always ready to help.
