OLGA-18’s 2015 important events are nearly complete and the snowbirds have headed out to cooler climates. As our numbers recede, those of us able to withstand the summer heat will keep OLGA-18 up and running until their return.
The annual match play, tournament Ladies Choice, was well received and enjoyed by all 20 participating teams. After weeks of competition, Anne Annis and Leann Knox came out the victors over Stephanie Raach and Ruth Rees. Congratulations! Thanks again to Joyce Schwartz for chairing this enjoyable competition.
OLGA’s travel team took home the 2014-2015 gross trophy on April 6. They defeated 11 teams, competing once monthly from November through April. Oakwood ended their season with 414 points, with their closest competition being Cottonwood with 395.5 points. Great playing ladies! Congratulations on a superior season.
