OLGA had a gorgeous day to play the first weekly event after over seeding on Tuesday, November 3. A 10:00 a.m. shotgun was followed by snacks and beverages. There was lots of happy chatter as year-rounders welcomed back winter visitors who have returned for the best seasons in Sun Lakes.

Winners of the team Scramble tournament held that day were:

1st D. Foster, B Lutes, Gail Moen and Carol Jones, 2nd I. Pattie, J. Hastings, D. Swanson and J. Skibo, 3rd K. Jensen, A. Annis, S. Willey and M. Brown, 3rd G. Malmberg, J. Kirschenbaum, P. D’Amore and B. Wolfmeyer.

The nominating committee presented the slate of officers for 2016, to be elected and installed at the next monthly meeting on December 8. Additional nominations may be made from the floor prior to the election. Those nominated are: President Barbara Dinardo, Vice President Jan Skibo, Secretary Anne Annis and Treasurer B.J. Schuller.

It’s time to renew OLGA memberships for 2016. The cost is $85 which includes our hole-in-one membership. Membership dues should be received by December 15; if received after December 15 an additional $5 will be assessed.

The OLGA Cup tournament will be played on December 1 and December 8. This is OLGA’s net score tournament. Play on December 8 will be followed by a dinner at which the champion will be announced and crowned!
