OLGA-18 September update—cooler temps on the way!

Glo Malmberg, Publicity

It is pretty quiet around the course as the weather has settled in to hot, hot and even hotter. At this writing, it is only August.

One way to beat the heat is to play the early 7:00 a.m. shotgun. Another way many of the gals find a reprieve is to take an occasional short side trip to cooler parts. There are a few, however, who still enjoy the later 10:00 a.m. shotgun. If there is anyone thinking about joining OLGA-18, this is a great time. It is at a more relaxed pace in the summer months and you will get special attention in whichever shotgun you prefer.

Even though it is extremely warm, the summer games must go on. The July event winners are as follows:

07/01. Tens – Flight 1: 1st Judi Sloan, 2nd Dari Akin, 3rd (tie) Debra Foster, Glo Malmberg and Shirley Weaver; Flight 2: 1st Joyce Sbur, 2nd (tie) Pat Schepp and Sharon Skoworn
