Siri picked our Ghost Holes on Jan. 10. Bev Chipman and Glo Malmberg liked the holes she picked, because they tied for first place in the first flight. Mary Figgis and Leslie Smith came in third and fourth. In the second flight, Linda Smith was first, Terry Jung was second, and Phyllis D’Amore was third, followed by Roselyn Hoiby, Sue Pederson, and Sally Berreth tied for fourth. In Flight 3, Barbara Anderson was first, Julie Clausen was second, and tied for third were Linda Thrash, Mary Buhrt, and Judy Kirschenbaum. Joni Hiller and Susan La Salvia tied for first in the fourth flight, and Kathy Burns was third. The fifth flight was won by Pam Shumard, and tied for second were Jennifer Pender, Doris Swanson, and Liz Pritchard.

POD on Jan. 17 was a surprise, and it turned out to be O.N.E.S. Mary Perry won the first flight, followed by Mary Figgis in second, Lorraine Blair in third, and Peggy Cooper and Roselyn Hobby tied for fourth. In Flight 2, Julie Clausen and Sally Berreth tied for first, Dang Teater was third, and tied for fourth were Robin Thomas, Linda Thrash, Phyllis D’Amore, Terry Jung, and Dolly Eide. Sharon Ironside won first in the third flight, and tied for second were Judy Kirschenbaum, Shirley Weaver, and B.J. Schuller. Flight 4 was won by Janey Garibay, second was Jennifer Pender, third was Colleen Ritter, and Liz Pritchard was fourth.

Our Charity Event was held on Jan. 24. Linda Anderson, vice president, was in charge of donations and presented a check for $5,350 to St. Mary’s Food Bank. Our members are to be congratulated on being so generous! Our golf event was Shamble, which was won by Lynda Jones, Sharon Ironside, Sharon Skoworn, and a blind draw. Second place was Christa Pensworth, Kelley Wojack, Shirley Weaver, and Jan Skibo. Mary Dyrseth, Dari Akin, Eleanor McCann, and blind draw won third. Coming in fourth were Glo Malmberg, B.J. Schuller, Kay Lehmkuhl, and Kathy Burns. Fifth place was Mary Figgis, Nancy Cohn, Robin Thomas, and Janey Garibay. Lynn Story, Carole Schmidt, Mary Spargo, and Connie Hughes were sixth.

Low Net was POD on Jan. 31. Mary Dyrseth won first, followed by Peggy Cooper, Glo Malmberg, and Marla Dahm. In Flight 2, Linda Smith, Roselyn Hoiby, and Dang Teater all tied for first place. Barbara Anderson won the third flight, Dari Akin was second, and Phyllis D’Amore was third. Tied for fourth were Pat Schepp, Nancy Cohn, and Sharon Ironside. Denise Lott won the fourth flight, B.J. Schuller was second, Karen Beltz was third, and Kathy Burns and Mary Keith tied for fourth.

Feb. 7 was the first day of the OLGA Club Championship with results to be announced in the next Splash. 3s and 5s were the counting holes for POD. In Flight 1, the winner was Leslie Smith, followed by Lynn Story and Sandy Brandt. The second flight was won by Dang Teater, and second was Debbie Horner, followed by Lorraine Blair, Barbara Dinardo, and Roselyn Hoiby. In Flight 3, Dari Akin was the winner, Phyllis D’Amore was second, and Barbara Anderson and Terry Jung tied for third. Beth Ebmeier and Sharon Ironside won the fourth flight, followed by Linda Thrash, Nancy Cohn, Judy Kirschenbaum, Cindy Paskey, and Shirley Weaver. Flight 5 winners were Doris Swanson and Susan Merrill, followed by Susan La Salvia, Liz Pritchard, and B.J. Schuller. Flight 6 winners were Karen Beltz in first, Norma Tucker in second, and Pam Shumard in third.
