This month we are spotlighting one of our volunteers. Roseann Pantano has been volunteering for three years. She works once a month and fills in as needed; which has become more often than not. The hours at The Perfect Place have been expanded to meet the growing needs of our participants. We could sure use a little more help.

Roseann Pantano had always been active in the Sun Lakes community. She had just finished volunteering at the Sheriffs’ Posse when her friend Joanne Gaudioso told her about her volunteering at The Perfect Place. It turned out to be a good fit. When asked, Roseann says, “It is a good thing to do. I enjoy it.” She especially likes that her volunteering gives the caregiver “a great opportunity to get free time.”

The Perfect Place is located on the campus of Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Sun Lakes. We are a non-profit faith based adult care center. Our volunteers are knowledgeable of Alzheimer’s, dementia, developmental disabilities and various adult neurological challenges. Most of us have had a loved one for whom we were a caregiver. We enjoy what we do.
