Major League Baseball’s 2023 season may be winding down with the World Series now underway, but Sun Lakes Senior Softball is just beginning its 2023-24 season. Opening Day was pushed back to Oct. 31 due to overseeding issues, but we’re now underway. Doubleheaders are played every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday morning at the Field of Dreams through mid-December. We also have two Monday dates (Nov. 20 and Dec. 18) to steer clear of the holidays. This year’s team sponsors are A-1 Golf Carts, Core Consulting, Skyview Digital Media, and Young Home Team Realty in the Lakes Division and Camp Hilby, Redeemed Team Realty, Spooner Physical Therapy, and Wolfe & Associates in the Sun Division. Managers and team rosters had not yet been finalized at press time, but you can find them on the Members and Rosters page of the website.

Practice sessions for our Lady Sluggers team will also be starting soon. Go to the Ladies page to find out details and contact information if you’re interested in joining the team. Our ladies play in the Valley of the Sun League against other teams throughout the Southeast Valley. League play starts in January.

As Thanksgiving approaches, our organization gives thanks to the many billboard advertisers and team sponsors who help make our organization a success.
