“Life is full of important choices. Choose fun! Join the Palo Verde Ladies Golf Association (PVLGA).” This was the message shared by leaders of the PVLGA during the Community Day Open House on Oct. 4. This annual event is sponsored by the Active Lifestyle Department. David Guthrie is the Sun Lakes HOA 2 director. The Active Lifestyle Department organized the clubs and groups in the San Tan Ballroom and Saguaro Room with exhibits, information tables, and demonstrations.
The PVLGA leaders invited guests to join the club to have fun and play golf. They gave the guests a “golf starter kit” containing golf tees, facial tissues, lip balm, a nail file, and chocolates. The guests had several questions and received immediate responses from the PVLGA leaders. In addition to the 18-hole club questions, there were several inquiries about the Palo Verde Niners who play on Wednesday afternoons. Interest sheets were available for both groups.
