The monsoons are a distant memory! Temperatures are still falling! Reseeding has rejuvenated the fairways! The birds are continuing to appear and settle in! Celebration of golf is just around the corner!

The long, hot summer league season has ended and our course has rested up for the coming onslaught.

The Saturday summer morning competitions have been completed and the September results are as follows:

9/17. Individual Stableford – Flight 1: Daryl Ramseyer tied with Stan Fark; Flight 2: Norm Elbery; Flight 3: Charlie Sivertson

9/24. One Gross plus One Net – Stan Fark, Joel Bosch, Bob Rouleau and Buster Crook with a score of 113

The final event of the season, a Two BB’s Net format, was held on the first of October and was won with a score of 98 by Gene Wenger, Royal Carlson, Tony Huffman and Vaughn Torgusen

We offer our condolences to the family and friends of Louie Grijalva, who recently passed away. Services were held at St Stevens Church. Louie was a Past-President of the PVMGA and will not be forgotten.
