Rangers Mark Fourth Anniversary in Sun Lakes

Michael Berry

Starting with just five members in 2019, your Sun Lakes Rangers have grown to almost 40 members serving our communities. Many of the Sun Lakes Rangers are former law enforcement officers, former members of the military, and a former FBI agent who is currently the company’s training officer. With the goal of providing a visual deterrence to crime, the Sun Lakes Rangers now work in conjunction, including radio contact, with all the local HOAs, providing regular patrols in our neighborhoods, including SunBird. In the past four years, the Rangers have forged working support relationships with the Chandler Police Department, the Scottsdale Police Department, the Gila River Police Department, and other agencies around the state.

During the Waste Management Phoenix Open, the Scottsdale PD praised the Rangers for their professionalism, demeanor, appearance, and willingness to tackle any assignment. Overall, 13 city police agencies, 2 state agencies, and 6 federal agencies worked during the Open.

The Sun Lakes Rangers are also proud to provide support to police agencies around the state with charity work, particularly with children and young adults, including the Shop With A Cop program. The Arizona Rangers are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with 22 divisions, or companies, across the state.
