Anyone who was ever hugged by Lamby will remember it for the rest of their lives. Lamby is my nephew’s best friend. He’s a lumberjack. When he threw his arms around me… and “throw” is the most accurate term… I was both literally and emotionally uplifted! He put his entire being into that hug. Swept me off the ground and whirled me around in the air. I hear his laughter still.

I love a good squeeze!

Michael, my grandson, gave his grandpa a hand-drawn card that reads, “I LOV PAPPY.” It was supposed to say, “I love Papa.” Tugs at my heart even now.

I LOVE love letters.

In our lives, there are literally thousands, maybe even millions, of gifts like these that came directly from the heart. Each one imprints itself upon our Heart the feeling of love with which it was given. I bet you have memories of such gifts – both given and received.

I’ve been given the blessing of receiving and giving Reiki through many years. Each time is gift to me! Each person who comes for Reiki treatment is uniquely special. Each one experiences healing in their own unique way.

Holidays offer us unlimited opportunities to give gifts of the heart. Reiki is a divine energy flowing directly from heart to heart.

The Reiki Circle, meeting every Tuesday at 9:30 a.m., Room A-2, in the Cottonwood courtyard, invites you to join them. Reiki practitioners from Sun Lakes and other nearby communities will be there to share with you gifts of Reiki healing from the heart.

Coming up in the next few months, Reiki Classes are being offered by Reiki Master Teachers, here in Sun Lakes.

Wishing you another Holiday of Heart-felt Gifts of Love. God bless you.
